Our four night stay started with a late afternoon after a long bus ride from Siem Reap. The hotels outer facade does not give rise to high expectations. Once inside its but a different world, tropical garden, tented pavilion restaurant area, pool and wooden decking. Check In is very relaxed and low key and the friendly atmosphere was the a... more

We stayed in a superior room for three nights and can not find fault with this hotel. We paid $40 USD per night through 'rates to go' off this website. The room was huge with a big comfy couch and a great balcony. The bathroom had a great shower and the room was clean and stylish. The best feature is... more

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Billabong Hotel in October 2008, in a Standard room. The room was adequate, though very small. It had AC, a TV, a mini-fridge, a broken safe, and a surprisingly comfortable bed (memory-foam type mattress). The bathroom was very basic, with no tub or shower curtain. The pool was beautiful, and we... more

The Billabong is hidden away and a pleasant surprise when you see the pool area and bar. We spent evenings sitting by the pool and swimming, it was very relaxing. The rooms are basic, but clean, good showers and reasonable priced. Loved the breakfast and the staff! more

We were lucky enough to have spent 4 nights at this hotel recently, and I really enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful, very friendly. The room was clean and well equipped, I really enjoyed swimming in the pool every day and towels were provided. The choice of breakfast was really good as they show you a breakfast menu and the... more

I took my friend, a Cambodian woman with a respectable job and who comes from a good family for a swim and we were denied entry. I suppose because of the "balding western men and their young girlfriend" comment made on 6/15. How terrible for Cambodia that just because a man is seen with a Cambodian woman she is thought... more

Booked for 1 night at one of the rear facing rooms. It looks into a building in the middle of construction, but fortunately there wasn't much construction noise or dust. The room was adequate, though just slightly musty . The hotel provided hotel and a bar a soap (Imperial Castel) but no shampoo! Hot water and water pressure was good.... more

I tried to overlook the too-small room with the dirty sheets and focus on the nice pool, but when we moved up to the reasonable sized $52 room, the minimal hot water and the ants and the lack of curtains in the east facing room and the construction site just outside the door was too much for that price in... more

We stayed here a couple of years ago for $45.00 a night. The hotel organised free airport pick up for us which was great. The hotel itself is down a side street (unlit) and reasonably central and a few minutes walk to all the bars etc. It has its own 24 hour security so no problems there and there is... more

My husband has stayed at The Billabong on three previous occassions and always described it as an 'oasis'., so when we both recently visited Cambodia it seemed the logical place for us both to stay. The hotel can't really be seen from the street, but when walking into the entrance you do suddenly feel ,like my husband decribed, that you... more
