The Amanjaya is a nice hotel in a great location. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and the restaurant and service is good, not great. The suites are large, but are not adequately furnished and the water closet could be larger. The room decor is generally nice, however, the cheap halogen lamp makes the room feel a... more

This was the one hotel I was slightly worried about during my trip but I was wrong. It was extremely good value for money. The rooms were large and clean and well equipped. There were a few maintenance issues but on the whole I got what I paid for. despite overlooking the traffic instersection, the noise didn't bother me. Both... more

I loved staying at Amanjaya, it really completed my time in Phnom Penh. While the rooms were enormous and well appointed, the thing I loved most about Amanjaya was the balcony. We had a balcony right on the corner, overlooking an incredible traffic junction. After a full day out and about, you could come back to the hotel, sit on... more

Nearly a 4-star rating but not quite. The position of the hotel is brilliant being across the road from the river and just along from the Royal Palace. Big rooms many with wonderful balcony views. Yes VERY big. Ours was enormous, well furnished, very clean, though the toilet unfortunately needed some work done on the flush facility. It's a lovely... more

We spent 2 of our 4 nights in Phnom Penh at the Amanjaya ... it is a lovely hotel very centrally located. When we checked in we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a balcony. We were completely estatic with how nice the hotel, room and its furnishings were. The only drawback and it is a major... more

After a long flight from London we were absolutely delighted to arrive at the Amanjaya. Our room was massive (about 30 paces from one end to the other not including balcony space) and really beautifully decorated in silks, carvings and wood furniture. Again, the bathroom was also really spacious and very clean. Staff were very honest, friendly and helpful. Breakfast... more

I visited this hotel for 1 night and it occupies a great location overlooking the river. The room was very clean and spacious and the rooms were quiet considering the hustle and bustle happening outside. The front desk staff were very friendly providing us with help planning our day in the city. We left prior to breakfast in the morning,... more

After our experience at the Juliana Hotel we moved to this nice place . We had a spacious room with river view. The rooms are clean, asian ambiance, big bathroom with bath tub and a balcony with two chairs and a small table. We had a super time in this hotel. In the evening you are directly at the boulevard... more

I stayed at Amanjaya for 3 nights in Nov. 2007. The hotel is beautiful. Expensive as far as Cambodia is concerned but the same room would have cost 3 or 4 times the price in the US. Good breakfast included with the room and a lovely fruit plate waiting in the room when I arrived. Excellent location and lush plant... more

A very well located Hotel over looking the river and within walking diatance to many attractions/ bars and restaurants. Fab rooms/ huge and nicely decorated with a bit of Cambodian style. Huge bath and great balcony. The staff were really friendly, service was pretty good, a little hit and miss at times due to communication problems, good breakfast and room... more
