I stayed in the Phnom Penh Hotel for four nights in April 2008. The first two nights were for a business meeting at the same hotel, the last two nights I added to do some touristy things in Phnom Penh. The room was paid by the conference organiser, so I cannot say anything about price/quality ratio, as I do not... more

The decorations are beautiful during Christmas. I don't know about any other days. Probably wouldnt be as colourful as it was during Christmas. The pool is baeutiful too. But I think it closes at 8-9pm, if I m not mistaken. There s a small roofed area nearby the pool.. I saw people gathering there, eating and some just sit there... more

I've been meaning to add a review of this hotel for some time now, having stayed there 3 times. This a very large hotel, which has all of the amenities that one would expect in a 5* hotel. The rooms are well appointed with all the usual trimmings; minibar, central aircon, internet etc. The biggest positive of this hotel is... more

I did spend four nights at this hotel together with my wife and another couple. We did book transfer from the airport to the hotel, and was met byt the driver on arrival. Checking in was a bit slow as the only person at the reception desk was busy with some othe guests. And our only complaint was that the... more

This is a large, Sprawling Casio Hotel that caters to gamblers and huge tourist groups. In this hotel you are nothing more than another tourist, another number that has to be processed. Daily you will see bus loads of ‘tour groups’ dumped off at the hotel. I found the hotel to be dirty and unhygienic. Beware - if you do... more

If you can negotiate a good deal, this can be incredibly cheap for a ‘5’ star hotel in the heart of the city. However whist technically everything is there – pool, internet, clean rooms etc. This Chinese owned hotel is spectacularly lacking in atmosphere. Good for a quick business trip, but if you want to feel like you are in... more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in November, 2007, initially on the first floor. We have stayed in hotels all over the world, and have never previously encountered bedbugs, therefore did not immediately recognise the small black beetles. The hotel carpet was worn and dirty, and the bathrooms needed replacing. In the morning, we realised through looking at... more

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Asia. I found a WHITE STAINS IN MY BED!!! I won't spell out what it was... The staff were the rudest off all the people I met in Cambodia. An example of their unhelpfulness was that the electricity was flickering in our room. I had to call reception twice &... more

I picked this hotel based on the tripadvisor reviews, and requested a non-smoking superior room for the hotel website's listed price of $80. When I got there, they gave me a dingy, dark, smoking room and told me that that was the only room available for the price. I quickly learned that the lower floors are all smoking and substandard... more

Beds very hard: when asked the staff about this they responded that they had already had many complaints about this! Foam supplementary 'mattress' produced without hesitation which made it slightly better. Bit out of the centre, but with cyclo and tuk tuk fares being very reasonable (for Western visitors) not too much of a problem. more
