Hotel is in the middle of a badly needed facelift. I had an unremodeled room that was shabby and dirty. Rugs were stained and threadbare. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food was fair although the buffet breakfast was fabulous. Menu for room service and the restaurant was very limited and almost entirely dairy. Location is great for visiting the... more

I had the opprtunity to use this hotel for relaxing. We live 40 miles away, but decided to enjoy this supposedly nice hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. However, the room was extremely disappointing: the A/C did not work, the linen were dirty, the shower holder was broken, and there was hardly water running from the shower. We... more

The two main advantages of this hotel are the panoramic views and the relatively low rates for an upscale hotel in Jerusalem. However, these are also the only pluses for this hotel. The rooms are tiny, even by Israeli standards. The beds are quite hard and uncomfortable, and very close to each other so that if someone snores in the... more

Stayed on the 10th floor which had a great view. Really impressed with staff attitude. Always friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is so delicious. Went for a hair consultation with Kobi at the in-house hair salon. Got a haircut that received a lot of positive comments from people on my tour. Ezekiel in the gift shop was... more

Its hard to know where to start. The rooms are small and dirty. The walls are thin. The food is downmarket strict Kosher. It's noisy. The lifts often dont work. The staff take rudeness and off handedness to new heights. It has one of the most inconvenient locations in Jerusalem. Security is a joke. more

Stayed in this hotel for a weekend last year. I think I may have tried to put the experience out of my mind, which is why I'm only reviewing now. We were given the smallest room I have ever stayed in (including in Europe, where small rooms are the norm). I'm getting claustrophobic just thinking about it. We had kids... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel during our December 07 vacation. We were very excited about our vacation. When we arrived at this hotel, everything went down hill. Day 1-We arrived on Shabbat and like other hotels they did operate a Shabbat elevator. However, it took us 20 minutes to get an elevator and up to our room.... more

First of all they do not know the concept of a "Family Room". In my opinion the family room should accomodate more than TWO people. Yes it only has one bed. It does come with a fold out sofa bed though. However this bed has holes in it. You fall through it if you dont wiegh less then a pound.... more

My family and I stayed here for two weeks in July 2007. The short report is we had a nice room, enjoyed great facilities and ate a little too much. Rooms are average sized for Hotels outside the US, we had a small balcony and the furnishings in our room were very new and reflected thouught and expense as they... more

As always I must begin by saying that people, generally, only take time for such a review if they had a problem, which can be misleading. We are a family of two adults and three little kids (aged 4-11), I booked two deluxe suites on a high up floor. On arrival we liked the lobby area with a coffee type shop... more
