Good bathroom. OK rooms but poorly furnished. 15 minutes hike form the Old city. Poor customer's service. Rooms over-loaded with air-freshner to hide the smell of smoke in the rooms. Do not rely on wake up calls as no one bothers to wake you up. No more than two stars hotel in US standards more

I truelly loved staying at Addar. My wife and I always stayed at a nearby hotel that was more expensive yet shabby and dirty .I convinced her to switch to Addar after hearing good reviews from friends and work colleagues . We chose this hotel because it was "touted" as a luxury hotel on the website we booked it from - it was far from that... but it was run down. It is also on the border of East and West Jerusalem and no easy to find. We drove to the hotel. The only positive thing was the hotel staff who... more

An excellent hotel with wonderful interior and a truly special atmospher. I have visited Israel and west bank several times and stayed at various hotels ntil I was recommended the Addar. its truly value for money. Rooms are big and new. more

After checking the hotel's website and trip advisor comments on the hotel we decided to go ahead and book for 2 nights. The entrance hall was old-style lavish but run down and there was a broken window. The receptionist was very helpful and happily gave us a complimentary upgrade. We booked this hotel based on positive reviews posted on Trip Advisor. This was toward the end of a two family trip to Israel and we stayed 3 nights so it was nice to have suites and a nice large bathroom for the price. This is a Muslim property so be ready to hear the Islamic call to prayer (loudly)... more

I am glad you have enjoyed your stay at Addar. However I have to point out that the hotel is not owned by individuals, its owned by a company called Ghasadaz . As for the location the hotel is located exactly on the border line between east and west with another three "Jewish" hotels next to it and the American...

My wife and I have stayed at Addar for one week. The hotel is incredibly clean, excellent location and great service. We have really enjoyed our time in Jerusalem and at Addar. We highly recommend this hotel. more
