The Eldan is located about 10minute walk from Jaffa Gate and it's in a fantastic location with restaurants and the Ben Yehhudah Mall closeby. The room was spacious and clean. I could just copy and paste all of the previous reviews regarding the location and amenities of this hotel...it is centrally located and within walking distance to both Ben Yahuda, the old city and the nearby restaurants on Yosef Rivlin and the walkway leading there....but the most interesting part of our stay was the cultural experience of sharing the jewish... more

Stayed at the Eldan for 3 nights in September. The location can only be equalled by much more expensive hotels (such as the nearby King David). The breakfast is good (kosher of course!) and the reception staff are very helpful. It is obviously NOT a four or five star hotel, but we had no complaints at all about the place.... more

This hotel is part of the Eldan car rental network. We got a deal on this hotel along with the car ("Double Deal"). Very helpful and friendly staff. We arrived, having stood on a freezing Jerusalem night for two hours waiting for Pres. Bush to go past, cold and more than a bit fed up. Receptionist and concierge sat us down and brought us a cup of tea and biscuit. Room clean. Breakfast superb and food on shabbat was excellent. Recommended. more
