Muscat's Ramada was for too long a tired, worn waste of a fine location. It has just (as of October 2008) reopened after a top-to-toe renovation and now has to rank as one of Muscat's best midline choices. Yup, have to agree with the previous reviewer especially about the pool. As we were traveling from the region with access to a pool, it wasn’t a necessity. This fairly new, small, hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms are clean, modern and breakfast is pretty good. It's only restaurant does not serve alcohol and the hotel lacks a decent pool and bar/entertainment. A few restaurants located 4-5 minutes away on foot. (Didn't try them so can't give review.)
