No positive for this place... hugely expensive for what it is. In short: - Noise - Above a nightclub, and here I thought hotels were for sleeping! I wish Hot Water - Non existant. We were told there was a hotel wide issue, however our neighbours worked just fine. First night we understood, second night with same excuse and staff... more

I satayed there for 2nights. Just too noizy from the night club down stairs and I simply couldn't sleep. I complained many times but they kept telling me that it was full booked and couldn't change the room ! Unless you like noizy place and don't like to sleep before 3am, it's not the place to stay ! more

We had a two day stay in Oman which was a lovely respite from Dubai. The Ramee Guestline Hotel is a bit far out from Muscat, we spent quite a bit on taxi fares as it was too far to walk. The hotel is definately a three star hotel not four as noted by the website. The hotel room was... more

We booked this hotel knowing that it would be fairly basic since hotels in Muscat are either luxury 5 * at some ridiculous price or budget such as the Ramee. Knowing that we should not expect too much, we actually found the hotel to be OK. We stayed on the 6th floor and all the rooms were recently refurbished -... more

When it comes to hotel stays on vacations, this had to be on the very low end of experiences. The only up side is the location. Other than that, this place needs serious updating. The use of the pool, hot tub, steam room ,sauna and workout areas you can pretend they're not there. Internet -down 3 of the 5 days.... more

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. After specifically requesting a room away from the nightclub, I was placed on the 5th floor directly above the nightclub. The first night, the noise and vibration from the nightclub carried all the way onto the 5th floor and lasted until early morning. I complained and was moved to the 4th floor... more

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was, you know - alright. Clean and safe, but a little dull. The breakfast was nice - served, buffet-style, in a room which opens out onto the pool. The pool is a little odd because it is completely enclosed in the centre of the building, so never... more

As part of a group of 10, we were very disappointed with the service from this hotel. We stayed there on 3 occassions during a 2 week period. The food was good, although usually cold as we were having a buffet meal each evening. The main restaurant on 2nd floor couldn't cater for this, so we were sent to the... more

Muscat is a great place to visit however one of the issues is that hotels can be very expensive. You pay a lot of money for a great hotel or less money for a less than great hotel. The Ramee is an older hotel and needs renovation, but, for the price you pay the stay is reasonable. The rooms are... more

We just returned from a two night stay at Ramee Guestline hotel/holiday Villa, muscat. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in a posh but peaceful area of Muscat, called Quram. The beach nearby, is very serene and untouched. Though lot has been damaged due to the Gonu cyclone, but it still hold its' natural beauty. The rooms are good... more
