After reading some of the prior postings was a little leery about what we would find. Here to say our experience at PPR far exceeded our expectations!!! Highly recommend. After traveling 24 hrs. from California, so delighted to have such an oasis to stay at. Every member of the staff was welcoming and friendly. The resort is beautifully situated on... more

We went to Palau in the fall of 2007 and stayed at the Palau Pacific in Palau. Can't say enough good things aobu the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and take care of all your needs. The room was very nice.... not outstanding but great view and well appointed. The beach area was very... more

My husband and I went to Palau for our honeymoon and stayed at the PPR. It was truly lovely. The rooms are very nice and I found the beds and pillows to be comfortable and the room spacious. We booked a garden view room but were upgraded to an ocean view room at no charge. The hotel had a bottle... more

The rooms in this hotel are great. You could really just arrive with the cloths on your back and be at home. The room comes with everything from a shaving kit, toothbrush and paste, comb, etc... The beach and the snorkling off the beach are great. Use Sam's for you diving. They are the best on the island. The food... more

My significant other & I went to Palau in April to get as far away from Houston as possible. We succeeded! After four flights, and 23+ hours later, we checked in to the Palau Pacific Resort ("PPR"). We were greeted at the airport by an energetic & helpful man representing the hotel. Among others from our flight who were destined... more

this was my first holiday with my husband but without our children. I have to say that it was absolutely the perfect holiday we have been dreaming on for a long time. the PPR (this is how the hotel is called by palauan people) is the best place where to stay if you are going to Palau. the staff is... more

Although neither my wife nor I scuba dive, we wanted to see Palau before all of the new development there spoiled its natural beauty. For our purposes, the PPR was a very good choice. Prior to booking, I was concerned that the company has recently changed management to operate independent of the Pan Pacific chain; however, we were pleased to... more

$269 for a 200Sq foot room with no microwave. Can't drink the tap water. (can't drink it anywhere in palau as a matter of fact.) Room service was no problem. Guest services were just fine. One major problem - Service at the outside bar - SUCKS. I won't go into details, but by the way I was treated there, I... more

The prices at PPR have gone up and while the service is better (we checked in in 5 min) it's not a great value. That said, the beach and pool are lovely with a great view and expensive but good food. A great place to stay if you're going to gel at the beach. THey do have a minimal work... more

Went as part of a group of 7 divers. Used NECO diving, not the on-site dive shop. Definitely caters to the Japanese, but front desk was excellent. Meals were pricey. Nitely buffet was $32 per person.Drinks were outrageous. Price differences btw bar, shop and frig in room. Wi fi in the lobby for free so far. There is a bus... more
