When I checked in, it reminded me a lot of the Clift Hotel in San Francisco. My husband and I have been to W hotels all of the world. The SF and NY W's have more of contemporary, cozy and warm feelings, while the Clift is more modern, angular and trendy. The way the tables in the bar were set... more

Stayed at The W Hotel Seoul about 4 months ago with a friend. She is an SPG member so I had high hopes of an upgrade or at least welcome amenity. Nothing.... I admit, I am a hotelier, and so may be slightly fussy at times, but I thought they would have at least recognised a loyal customer upon check... more

W Walkerhill is a unique property that will either be loved or hated by its patrons depending on their preferred cups of tea. For me, I was in search of a secluded hotel with nice views and posh settings, which the W delivers without competition. From the moment you step into the lobby you are dazzled by the sights and... more

Stayed at the W for one night. Elected to get the car service from the airport which is pretty expensive (US$145) but given the lengthy trip from the airport to the hotel (1:20) it was worth the extra money in my opinion. You can elect to take a bus which is about US$14. I was impressed with the concierge. They... more

From someone who travels for a living, this is one of the nicest hotels in the world. I must admit a bit over trendy for my taste but I was left with a great impression. more

The W in Seoul most probably is one of the most impressive hotels I've ever seen (and I saw a lot). The entry, the bar, the elevator and the restaurants are great - but the rooms are even better. The round bed, the impressive bathrooms, the accustic systems etc. - just fantastic. Yes, it's not cheap but far, far, far... more

Spent 2 great days at the W Walkerhill. The level of service from the staff was extraordinary. We were using Starwood points for the stay and received a complimentary upgrade to a fantastic room with a river view. Breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. It's easy to get to the Walkerhill on one of the KAL buses which leave... more

Stayed there this weekend with a friend and loved the room, ambience and servcie standards. Room really funky with Bose sounds systems, large TV and rain shower bathroom etc. Bar and reception area is fab with chilled DJ in the evening and loads of sofas, cushions, egg pod chairs to be lounged on day or night. Restaurants and bars offered... more

Myself and several of my Air Force buddies stationed in Korea stayed at the W for a Rock Star kind of weekend. We spent more money than Donald Trump did in his last divorce, or at least it felt that way. This place is amazing! From the moment you walk in the door you are completely blown away. We arrived... more

I recently stayed at the W Seoul for 7 nights on a work-related trip to Korea, and received an excellent rate when directly booking with Starwood Properties by phone. I have stayed in some stunning modern hotels around the world, and the Seoul W equals any of them. (In some ways, it reminded me a little of the Cyberport Hotel... more
