Convenient location and an attentive barman are the only positives I can come up with about this hotel. I was bitten very badly by bed bugs on my 3rd night of my 4 night stay there. Upon making a complaint and requesting any form of compensation the hotel manager only gestured for me to be quiet (by running his hand... more

This hotel is in the middle of Cairo. If you want to be situated just five minutes away from everything, this is the place for you. At first glance, you may think that this hotel is too old and falling apart but once you spend a few hours there, you would realize that this is a jewel that just needs... more

Rubbish hotel. Arrived late, quick to get us in our room. Of course the man who carried one of our bags to our room, whilst I was left to carry mine, had no problem asking for money once he'd dropped our bag on the floor. No surprise there. Next to the landing spot of our bag, was a giant puddle... more

The hotel is well situated but I got what I paid for - and I didn't pay much. Some of the staff were unfriendly (the men on reception for a start), though some of them were very nice. The service in the bar is non-existant (we waited an hour for a pot of tea and only because we went down... more

When we had first checked in, this Concorde hotel in Dokki looked depressing as it is quite run down with one-way mirrors, mouldy smells and the 2 lifts take some getting used to. We were all agreed that it could do with a new coat of paint and redecoration. Initially we were desperate not to stay in the room any... more

We stayed in concorde for 3 nights, we found the location quite good, and the price cheap. The room was nothing special and the bed was uncomfortable. If you want exchange you better visit hotel sheraton (almost opposite concorde),there are two bank offices inside which are open 7days.outside the hotel you can find taxis whenever you want. a taxi from/to... more

knowing how choatic Cairo is I wasnt expecting much from this hotel. But in the end it turned out to be pretty good! the location is great, 5 minutes from the River Nile, 20 minutes walk from the centre ( Sadat). The staff is really nice and helpful, and contrary to other reviews, the breakfast was really good with croissants,... more

On the net it rated this hotel as a 3-star but i was prepared for a much reduced ranking and it was as i expected. i was given a room on a non-smoking 5th floor but there were guests smoking. since this hotel was located on one of Cairo's most busy streets, it was very noisy, dusty and you could... more

I didnt know what to expect when comming to Cairo. Many said that hotels arent very good at all. While this one is small, and has an old elevator, you can find many pleasures with it. The showers are decent, they offer cable TV with an english movie channel, and a good breakfast. Avoid the high cost of the internet... more

The Concorde is a simple hotel with all the basics. We stayed on night and left for another hotel that we had already booked. The concorde offered free breakfast which was okay but basic as well. I'm a coffee person in the morning so it was okay! I would not recommend this hotel for someone who looking for an upscale... more
