Couple from Australia. We liked the hotel very much. Very friendly staff and economically priced Thai resturant. The Thai resturant is best value for money but you can order from the Thai menu in the much nicer Chinese resturant. We will stay in this hotel again. Tip: There is an authentic massage salon run by a mother and daughter near... more

Ayutthaya is great and well worth a visit. Apparently the Krungsi River is one of the better hotels. Don't fancy your chances in some of the others.. The service is fine and we enjoyed dinner by the water, but the let downs are: Pretty dreadful food at buffet breakfast and lunch. Dirty (ie old & tired) hallways and rooms, including... more

The hotel lies approx. 70 km North of Kanchanaburi and is NOT close to the River Kwai Bridge. It lies in nice nature, but remote from main roads and vilages, so everything needs to be arranged through the hotel. There are no taxis. Prices for food and drinks however are very reasonable, even for minibar and roomservice. The river wing... more

Though this may be in the top end of the hotel selection in Ayuthaya, don't expect to be wowed by your stay. The hotel restaurant has an extensive menu but the quality of food is hit or miss. Staff are pleasant and helpful; laundry service is very good. There's an attached business center with fast internet connection (nothing in the... more

The hotel is pretty decent but was let down slightly by its location. It was about a mile outside the centre and if you wanted to walk into town it seemed that you'd have to negotiate your way past a busy freeway across a bridge to do it. Maybe we should have got a taxi...... Rooms and breakfast were fine... more

Our arrival at the Krungsri River Hotel was a half hour prior to check-in time so we were told to wait in the lobby. (Maybe the room wasn't clean yet?) The lobby was very pleasant and had the look of a four star hotel. At three minutes to check-in, a porter came to us and escorted us to our room.... more

The hotel is the best one in Ayuthaya, but it maybe a little bit run down already. We stayed there for two nights. Positive: thai-restaurant has wonderful (spicy!) food! A lot of thais eat there - a good sign, nice river view. Negative: one cockroach in the bath room & really disgusting: one cockroach in the bread basket (!) of... more

This is the best hotel (I have also tried the U-Thong Inn before) in the historical city of Ayuthaya (must see in a Thailand trip). To visit Ayuthaya and all its temples and ruins, one day is hardly enough so an overnight stay is recommended. Although it is the best hotel in town, it maybe compares to an international 3-star... more

It is kind of hard for me to write a review on this hotel. We spent just one night and basically the hotel is a very good deal for the 1.200 Baht we paid after some negotiations. Clean room, acceptable bathroom, TV, aircon, friendly and attentive staff. A little bit off the main attractions of Ayutthaya, but okay because of... more

It is a good hotel. Not to big but it has all the comfort you need. A good swimmingpool and restaurant is available. Value for money. more
