Nice property, rooms were fantastic..spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Main concern was the inability to use your cell phone in the rooms and the lack of a fridge. Keep your hiking boots because you'll need them. Overall good experience. more

After receiving an email, while we were in New Mexico, from Hilton hotels telling me of a great deal for three nights including a Sunday at two Hilton resorts in Phoenix, as were were on our way to Phoenix (how did they know? - was it because I had made enqiries on the internet before leaving the UK?), we drove... more
My husband and I live in the area and wanted to get away for the weekend, relax by the pool and enjoy what a resort has to offer. After much searching and review reading we chose the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. We booked for a 3 day weekend. They were having a summer special $99.95 per night. We arrive... more
We were given a room that had a view of two parking lots. They claim to have 8 pools and we were closest to the Presidential Pool. There was nothing presidential about this pool that was closer in size to my bathtub then a resort pool. There is a lovely complex of pools but no joke about 10 minutes away,... more
Just returned from July 4th trip. Normally I go were there is an ocean. This was a trip to visit friends but made it into a vacation. The Pointe Hilton staff were very friendly. Everyone of the hotel staff would greet you with a smile. The room was clean, but you could see wear in the walls and carpet. The... more
Off season in Phoenix was a hot one! The Tapatio Cliffs was a beautiful destination. We were there for our 16 yr old son's baseball tournament. The resort was very nice even with the renovations being done and big dirt area at the front of the resort, our room was near the top of the hill, so it didn't bother... more
Between the price I paid for the room and the Hilton name I was expecting an outstanding property. It was nice but not anything special. The good: - Large room, with separate sitting area - Good housekeeping - Proximity to hiking trails. The bad: - Room was a bit shabby (scuffed furniture), had no view, and overlooked the parking lot... more
I stayed here a year ago for two nights. I would love to go back for the scenery and luxurious room. I met up with a friend who was here on business. Through travel rewards, she managed to get a King Presidential Suite which provided beautiful, condo-like quarters with design touches like high wood-beamed ceilings, a stained glass window in... more
Stayed here for one night on May 31st. Got an extremely good rate on hotels.com for $109, which made me rate this an excellent stay. Didn't get to enjoy too many of the property amenities, but the staff were courteous and professional. The two-room suite was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed in building 27, which... more
I was here for five nights in early June attending a conference staying in two different rooms in the main building (first two nights by myself with a king bed and the remaining nights sharing a room with two double beds). I also visited the room of other colleagues in some of the other buildings. Pretty much identical layout for... more
