A chain hotel (Hyatt) trying to pass itself off as boutique, and just about succeeding. Slightly serious corporate staff and a lobby that has Expensive Design Statement written all over it, with massive red columns, Middle eastern seating area, and a double-sided jelly fish tank. The hotel is one of the few "better quality" hotels in Ocean Drive. It is trendy in good way. We had a bungalow room which means a room by the pool. The room itself is beautiful but very small. Our family stayed for christmas and new years eve 2007, we came back to our room in the morning after breakfast and a lot things were stolen for a value of about $20000.......we contacted their insurance and our complaint was denied because they could not prove that it was the hotel's fault. I stayed here this past weekend. It's a pretty cool hotel. I wish Hyatt had more properties like this. The standard rooms are on the small side, but find for 1 or 2 people.
