It is a OK hotel, but be aware of a few things - don't get a room on the 15th floor, there's a noise coming from I don't know what (probably AC system or heating or smth else) and it's hard to sleep. That's serious! Breakfast is very ordinary and expensive. The furniture is very old and rather ugly. The... more

I cannot believe some of the negative reviews about this hotel! This hotel was amazing! Lovely spacious lobby, good restaurant with very reasonably priced food. Staff very helpful and friendly. The bedrooms were beautiful! Very large, comfortable beds and immacuately clean! - Large spacious bathroom. Lovely swimming pool area and Jacuzzi. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great place to... more

Disclaimer: My review is based on comparing this hotel to others in it's price/star range. I travel for business and the hotel cost is expensed, so I rarely am concerned about the room rate. Overview: This is one of those stays where I wish TripAdvisor had a 3.5 star rating. It was better than an "average" stay, but not the... more

I am a frequent traveler and usually stay at Marriotts. This one is NOT in good condition. No problems with the staff or service - instead it is the poor condition of the property itself and the very inconvenient location (unless you want to go to Orlando Magic games). Hotel was built in 1989 by another hotel company. Marriott acquired... more

There are many themed and non-themed hotels to select in Orlando, Florida. The Marriott Orlando Downtown is one of the hotels that is simple and caters to the needs of the business travelers. Things to know: - a five minute walk to Amway Arena. The home of the Orlando Magic. Its right across the street. - a five minute drive... more

The maid service stole a pair of our shoes out of the room. After a week of trying to resolve the matter, we were told that since they had no evidence of anything being taken, they couldnt do anthing. Terrible hotel... DO NOT STAY HERE more

Our family stayed here only one night. After reading the other reviews we opted for a room on the top floor to avoid the noise problems. Our room faced the 7 eleven and with the AC on, we still heard lots of noise. The police were there numerous times clearing the parking lot with their microphones. We were unable to... more

Stayed at the Marriott Orlando Downtown for three nights during the middle of July. It was nice, but no big deal. I'd stay there again, but I would probably try another hotel first. Pros: Bed -- Very comfortable. Room Service -- Took an order 5 minutes before closing time with no complaint. The quality of the food was above average... more

Unfamiliar with this area, I paid extra to stay at a Marriott, as I have done in other cities. Big mistake. First while minor, when we checked in the kitchen associated with the bar was closing, which we only learned of after the fact but no effort made to accomodate any order we might have wanted to place, they were... more

I stayed at the Marriot Downtown over Memorial Day weekend. I was in town for a wedding and the location was perfect. The hotel was centrally located for all the various wedding venues (I didn't visit any of the theme parks). I had a delicious lunch in the sports bar in the hotel and the ample breakfast buffet was included... more
