When we first checked in, I saw a cockroach scurry away in the bathroom. I'm not the type to complain, so I ignored it. Besides, I was tired and ready to go to sleep. Soon after falling asleep, I woke up with a MASSIVE COCKROACH crawling on my face! I flicked it off, turned on the light and saw at... more

Good clean rooms, quiet, but free breakfast could be better. Free high-speed internet, lots of cable channels make this a good base for a road warrior. more

Our stay at Grand Palms was excellent. Our room was clean, the golf course was fun and a challenge. The service was friendly. The morning continental breakfast was more than just coffee and danish. We enjoyed eggs, french toast, bagels, coffee and juice. Plenty of good shopping and great places to eat in the area. I would recommend anyone to... more

Despite repeated requests for a crib for our 18-month-old son, none materialized. There were no cups in the room, the towels were the size of handkerchiefs and there weren't enough of them, the rooms were dark, the plumbing/hot water made loud shrieking sounds when turned on, the knob to the bathroom didn't stay closed, there were gnats or other bugs... more

We did not think that we could find a hotel in South Florida that had everything we were looking for at a price we could afford. We found it and it is called Grand Palms !!!!! We searched the Internet for various hotels in the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area and reviewed their rating on Trip Advisor. We found some of the... more

It was my first experience staying at Grand Palms Resort in South Florida, but it won't be my last. Simply put, we had a great time and felt I had to tell the travelers. The Golf course is beautiful and they had the best greens I played on in a long while. Their Spa & personnel were just wonderful. They... more

We came to Florida for a in Pembroke Pines and also wanted to enjoy the beach. We were satisfied with our hotel, it was not brand new but seemed clean to us. They cleaned the room early everyday. A few negatives were that the AC unit was loud but we were so busy all day we were tired and slept... more

We stayed here for a night in April because my brother lives in the community directly behind it. It is a horrible place, more of a motel than a resort. Our room was on the second floor, there were no elevators. It is very run down, and needs to be totally made over. My aunts room had a cockroach in... more

This place is not the Ritz, but you're also not being charged like it is either. I travel every week for my job. I typically stay at the Hampton Inn near this hotel, but during this season the rates in the area are a bit high. I like this hotel because I could look out on the golf course and... more
