Am I spoiled? I would think that a Hilton in the South would have Air Conditioning in the restaurant, smoke-free non-smoking rooms, clean coffee makers, and plenty of parking. We arrived during a Rays game. The bell hop (not sure if that was his job--since no evidence of work was seen) stood and watched as we got out of the... more

We stayed at this Hilton for the Red Sox Tampa Bay series September 15-18 and while we do believe in going green the place was hotter than H-E double toothpicks!!! Despite complaints by many of the guest during our stay the comment was only "gee it is hot in here" or "boy I told the engineer and he is looking... more

Hotel is average. Location is good if you want to be near the bayfront or go to a Tampa Bay Rays game, but the rooms are tired and the restaurant/lobby are below average (there is no air conditioning in the restaurant, which is really odd - it wasnt broken when I was there, as I have been there twice in... more

We were there for a wedding and the 4th of July weekend. We found the hotel easily and it had a great location. It was a short walk to the Baywalk and the pier. There were many functions going on at the hotel. I suppose due to the holiday weekend, so the hotel was PACKED. There were two large family... more

I found it a bit pricey(160) for an OK room. The hotel itself is lovely and that is what you are paying for. Pool is nice nothing special. We did have to call several times and one day our room not cleaned till we left for dinner. We enjoyed a cigar bar two blocks away.Several restaurants were good at the... more

I booked several rooms as well as the Presidential Parlor for a group reunion that was held last weekend. From the first contact, nine months ago, everyone was incredibly helpful making sure all my many, many details were taken care of. And, all I can say is they deserve a 10+ for making this a perfect weekend. The rooms were... more

I was very impressed with the hotel. This was my first stay at a Hilton so I can't speak to how it compares to others. the staff were very friendly and most helpful. The lobby is very nice. My room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but still well appointed and... more

Stayed here for a conference. Workers were generally friendly aside from one exception. The hotel restaurant had a nice lunch buffet and EXCELLENT desserts. Listen to Dennis, the concierge, he will NOT steer you wrong on places to go, eat and do. The spa was nice and affordable. Pool was nice, but the pool bar wasn't open when I was... more

The Hilton at St. Pete is inflexible. Priceline is also very difficult to work with. After the death of a family member of a friend joing me in St. Pete at this hotel. Neither would cancel the reservation. The worst part is that I had to call housekeeping every single day (a 7 night stay) for the room to be... more

The room is ok, not great, but not bad either. If you need a decent high speed connection, you won't be happy here. The internet performance is awful. They actually charge $9.95 per day and it's generally slower than a dialup and has long pauses where it does nothing. more
