Got a great deal for a weeks stay in the Affinia in Chicago on expedia in October and it was a bargain for the hotel and service we got. Superb location just off Magnificent Mile and a couple of blocks away from Water Tower Place. The staff were professional, friendly and always eager to help. We had booked a junior... more

We booked a Saturday night stay for the Mag Mile Lights Fest...got a *great* rate thru Travel Ticker. The location could not have been more perfect as we could see Water Tower Place from our room., so we were about a half block from Michigan Avenue. We booked a regular room, not a suite, so we had the setup where... more

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a dinner and an overnite at the Affinia. As a former travel agent, I am very particular where I stay and knowing that my husband was a little nervous. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The view from our room was great. Location to Michigan Avenue couldn't... more

My husband and I come into the city every year the day after Thanksgiving and stay overnight to do some Michigan Ave. shopping. We usually stay at Sofitel or Park Hyatt, but this year felt brave after reading some reviews and tried the Affinia. We booked a junior suite. There's this actually pretty cool premise where you can request all... more

Very nice hotel with exceptional service. I stayed a week on a business trip and enjoyed it thoroughly. The location is fantastic, the rooms are very well laid out and roomy. You also get a choice of five different pillows, which I thought was a very nice touch. I chose the Ipod pillow which had a connection built in to... more

we booked this hotel after seeing its high rating on tripadvisor and finding a great rate on the hotel website. i think we paid $130/night (and that was friday, sat, sun.) which was an excellent deal for this area. the hotel is one block from the famed michigan avenue. right next door is a great pizza place, gino's east. and... more

We booked this great little boutique hotel thru Travel Zoo at a very reasonable price. It was rated at the time the number 2 hotel in Chicago. The Affinia lived up to the ratings. The decor was very modern and simplistic . I have never stayed in a hotel that had real HD TV. The location was great - just... more

My wife and I stayed here recently for four nights while I was in town for a conference. We absolutely loved the hotel. I booked a junior suite because Expedia was having a great deal. Very roomy, clean, and comfortable beds. Great view of the John Hancock building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location, a block off... more

Great location, nice modern rooms. But do not even think about sleeping in or trying to concentrate on work while in your room. The housekeeping was breaking new records for doorslamming every day of our stay. The ladies from China who do not seem to understand one word of our language start early and do not prop the doors open... more

Dear Maxsparents, First of all, thank you very much for the feedback that you provided to us regarding your recent stay in the Affinia Chicago Hotel. One of our major standards in our hotel that we highlight during our weekly training sessions is problem resolution and follow up on guest issues. I sincerely regret that we failed to do so...

The Affinia is virtually the perfect hotel for a visit to Chicago. My wife and I stayed in an upgraded suite. Very large room, that is modern and has all the little touches. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The location is excellent. The price is a good value for what you get. We simply couldn't find anything to... more
