I just returned from a wonderful trip to The Whitehall Hotel in Chicago. I was skeptical about staying at this hotel due to some of the negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. I recently spent one week at the Whitehall. It was fantastic! The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The food at the Hotel's restaurant was well above par. Try the corned beef hash for breakfast - BEST I EVER HAD! We plan to return again - hopefully soon. more

Popped back in last Saturday for another night stay visiting Chicago for dinner with a friend. Slight delay at check in less than 5 minutes. Got to the room and it was fine. We had reserved two adjoining rooms at the Whitehall, upon check-in were told that 1) only one of the rooms was ready (it was 4:30pm!) and 2) that they actually don't have adjoining rooms.
