Great location. Concierge very helpful... Room was clean, but not spotless... Found some dust. Very good quality for the price you pay. $50 to park the car is honest price... note that you can leave car there from noon to 5pm of following day. Just returned from the INTERCONTINENTAL-CHICAGO and must say was very pleased with the overall service and ammenities the hotel provides. We took the Amtrak from Lincoln, IL to Chicago on 11/2/08. Arrived at hotel by 10:30 a.m. and were able to have early check in. Room was very nice, but small. Built in couch located directly below the window. We could see Navy Pier, otherwise view was tops of other buildings. Bathroom was adequate - also on the small side.... more
