My wife and I stayed just one night on our way from NC to Canada. We stayed in a brick cabin that was the old slave quarters. The rooms were nicely decorated and very adequate for the price. The cabins are pet friendly as was the entire staff. We had a very nice reception which was accompanied by a bit... more

This was the single most perfect way I could have possibly spent these few days. If you are at all interested in wine, you won't want to miss the Virginia Wine Academy at Meander Plantation. The most impressive part of this package is the number of experts involved, all willing to share their knowledge and their passion for wine in... more

My wife & I just returned from an exquisite three-night stay at the Meander Inn, near Orange, Va. Our lodging (Washington's Cottage) was phenomenal. The meals were simply awesome. We attended a 2-day cooking school, and just loved every minute of it. This was my first B&B experience, and I must say -- I could get used to the B&B... more

My girlfriend and I stayed over the July 4th weekend at the Inn and had a wonderful time. We had booked one of the smaller rooms, but received a phone call a few days before we were set to arrive from one of the owners apologizing because the room we had reserved was undergoing renovation and offering to upgrade us... more

There are three great things about Inn at Meander Plantation--the accomodations, the food, and the proximity to areas of interest. Accomodations: The Inn is lovely, not the least bit tacky, with romantic and classy furnishings. A good number of the rooms are suites. We stayed in the Colonel Fry suite, which had a large bedroom with a fireplace, an office... more

I surprised my wife with dinner at Meander to celebrate our 10 Wedding anniversary. It was recommended by friends of ours whose farm was once part of Meander. She was wide-eyed as we turned up the drive. The grounds are beautiful and we would love to return for a weekend. It is really the "old Virginia" that we love. Dinner... more

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Meander Plantation back in March ‘08. We had a lovely time, and believe this place has a lot of potential, but we would like to offer some suggestions and tips for future guests. --The Rooms-- We stayed in Dependency 1 & 2 and found them to be nice and... more

I first stayed at Meander last September on my way to North Carolina to a wedding. It was just an over night stay and I swore I would return with my husband .I did so last week, this time to attend Meander Plantation's cooking school. It was an activity and information full two days. When we arrived we were given... more

My family from Martinvsville, Richmond and Illinois, met at the Meander Inn for my Moms memorial at the National Cemetary in Culpeper. We wanted a place that was peaceful and to share memories as a family. What a wonderful place this was for this gathering. The atmosphere was peaceful and quaint and just like being at home. We stayed in... more
