Stayed at this hotel for a business conference in October. I would never stay again! Hotel is suppose to be "non smoking" but my room smelled horrible! I asked to be moved, but was told there were no other rooms. I was put in a "connecting" room, which meant I got to listen to the person next door chat on... more

Just checked in for a three-day conference. Sheraton should, as one poster noted, be ashamed of this property. The lobby is dingy and uninviting. The elevator lobby on the main floor is awful, and each floor's actual elevator lobby is low-ceilinged, dark, and dingy. The room--just a standard room w/two queen beds--has a nice view, but it just feels OLD... more

I stayed at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center this weekend and overall the trip was good! I do have to say that when I called two days before arrival to inquire about parking I was told that self-parking was $25 and valet was $35. When I got to the hotel and checked in I was told that self-parking was $35... more

My husband and I were in Philadelphia last weekend and we stayed at the Sheraton in Center City. The location was great--very close to City Hall and directly down JFK from the Art Museum. We were only a couple of blocks from all of the great shopping and restaurants on Chestnut and Wallnut streets. The room decor was standard for... more

The hotel was ok, but I have stayed in much better hotels in the city and was not satifited. First when we checked in we could not have our bed choice. I did call ahead to see if I could get one queen bed, and they told me that since I booked through priceline that we get whatever they had.... more

I stayed at the Sheraton Philadelphia for 2 nights on business in Sept/Oct 2008 and enjoyed my stay. There is nothing too special about this hotel though so that is why it is just above average. Check in was smooth. I am a gold member and was given a room on the 25th floor. My room was quite clean and... more

I was on business travel September 17-19, 2008 and stayed at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center. The staff was friendly and the property looked nice. However, the first morning, around 5am, I awoke to find a bed bug, the size of an apple seed in the sheets with me. I imagine if I had not gotten up when I did,... more

Ok I gotta say I was so pleasantly suprized at this hotel after reading all the reviews. I am a travel agent so Igot a super rate on this hotel but honestly came in to staying here dreading it. The issues that people complained about( slow elevators, awful customer service and slow checks ins) did not happen to me at... more

This place was horrible! The Sheraton should be ashamed of this property. Got a good rate online, had to wait 10 minutes or so to check-in. Very large hotel. No street parking. Had to park in the hotel's parking lot. Underground, not very safe feeling and very expen$ive! The elevators need to be replaced-they are very scary and shake a... more
