We stayed a week. We are reward members and booked a double studio room so we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a corner 2 bedroom 2 bath with kitchen and living room on 19th floor with wonderful view of city hall for $189 a night during Philadelphia marathon. This was the least expensive hotel in city hall area. The... more

I want to write a review since I got very helpful information from this site. This was my first stay in residence inn. I stayed 4 nights from Aug 17 for ACS meeting. I got great deal two beds studio, 139/night. The location was great and especially I liked the beds. The free breakfast was great and weekday evening free... more

Stayed at the Residence Inn Philadelphia City Center for 4 nights in August 2008 (check-in Wednesday / check-out Sunday). Pros: The location. The hotel is centrally located in Philadelphia and within walking distance of many historical/tourist sites. Furthermore, it is adjacent to City Hall with access to the subway system (the blue line) -- The subway provides quick access (20... more

Our family of four (two adults, 15-year-old, 13-year-old) stayed for three nights in a one-bedroom suite on the 19th floor Labor Day weekend. The room and the hotel worked well for us and we would recommend it to other families traveling to Philadelphia. Pluses: • Two rooms, two beds, and a sofa bed • Clean comfortable rooms and furnishings, large... more

Good Breakfast, Great Location, the rooms are very quiet because this building is a former bank building converted into a hotel so you really cannot here any noise from other rooms. The only two negatives would be the elevators are very slow when the hotel gets full and this hotel has the worst sofa bed mattresses of any hotel the... more

First let me say, I love Residence Inns generally, but his one is tired and inconvenient. There's a wonderful Residence Inn in Conshohocken (suburban Philly) and suggest that, if you're driving, you stay there. This one's almost impossible to find at night, ridiculously understaffed, and all the public areas appear less than clean (dirty doors and windows etc). In addition,... more

I wanted a reasonably priced hotel that would accomodate four adults in a single room. Most of the hotels I contacted only had room for 2 adults and rates started at around $200. For $149 I was able to get a livingroom/kitchen with dining table and a separate bedroom with 2 large beds. Everything about the room was perfect and... more

I stayed at this property 7/25-7/28. I only stay at Marriott but had never stayed at this Residence Inn. The price was almost too good to be true ($104/night) and when I checked in I mentioned to the desk clerk that at the end of this stay I would be at Silver Elite level with Marriott Rewards. She told me... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn for a July weekend and had a great time. Our suite on the 16th floor was spacious, clean and comfortable. We looked over City Hall and loved the view. We could hear no noise from the hotel, but you could hear city noise outside, even from the 16th floor. Breakfast was excellent and the... more

My family of 3 stayed at this property for a Saturday night at the end of June. We booked at 1 bedroom suite for one night. We paid $37 to valet park our car, we probably could have found a spot for a little less money but after 4 hours in the car it really didn't seem worth it to... more
