My two daughters, ages 9 and 13, and I were in the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia with our dance studio. I waited until the week before to book a hotel, as I originally thought I would just drive home after Wednesday's rehearsal. I went through Priceline and hoped for the best. It was better than I expected. From the... more

While the location seems to be nice on the waterfront, you have to cross a highway - and yes, there is a bridge - to get to the historic parts of Philadelphia. Overall, it's a decent location, though. The views from my room were spectacular, as I had a corner room with windows on two different walls. The room and... more

I travel 5 months out of the year. I find Hyatt to be inconsistant and "behind the times" in service when comparred to Sheraton, Hilton & Marriott. My room was very nice, large and recently renovated. The new beds, linens and pillows are excellent. At $100.00 per night it was a steal. All doorman/bellman very helpful and friendly. The issues:... more

Came to Philadelphia for the marathon and stayed at the Hyatt Penn's landing. The staff was incredibly gracious and went out of there way to help us organize our stay. I did leave two messages for the concierge that were never returned, but in the end it didn't really matter. The Hyatt had a good location, not great, but for... more

I'm not a Hyatt "regular", but I certainly expected more from the brand. On check in, my room was not nearly clean; there was dust on desk and table surfaces that had been there for weeks. It looked like they dusted with just the dim electrical lighting in the room, but when I opened the curtains and let in natural... more

My partner and I found a great deal on priceline for a weekend rate (110 per night). The hotel looks new and is very well furnished with leather furniture in the room. Plus it has great views of the city and the river. However, they really need to work on staff training. First, the valet's don't seem to be working... more

I stayed here for work and had a very nice stay. The staff were all extremely helpful with directions to/from restaurants and local attractions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Minor issues--the restaurant was extremely overpriced for average food with no real variety (a short walk will lead you to better, more interesting food at a much more reasonable... more

Our first trip to Philadelphia to see the historic sites. We wanted price, safety, convenience and quiet. The Hyatt at Penn's Landing didn't disappoint at all. This was a great place to call home for three days while we toured the Freedom sites in Philly. We got a great price through Hotwire and were most pleased with all aspects of... more

I joined my daughter and grandson on 8/16/08 (Sat) at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing. I checked out from Room 1507 on the morning of 8/19/089. Our problem began when I went to the Lobby and asked if there were any larger rooms, seeing there were now three of us in one room. I was told "no", but the... more

As other reviews have stated, the outside of the hotel is a bit stale, but the location is wonderful, right along the waterfront. The rooms were clean, well decorated and had a beautiful view(I requested a higher up floor with riverview and we got it). Overall, we enjoyed the hotel, but found it to be a bit overpriced. We booked... more
