Courtyard Marriott is a more modern and upscale hotel in the Gettysburg area. The hotel is a little bit off the beaten path, but has easy access to Gettysburg via the highway. There is no free continental breakfast. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. more

I stayed here last-minute to visit a relative in hospital. Everything went perfectly, from check-in to the morning checkout. Hotel is in a mixed-use development, with a movie theater and some shops and restaurants, but still close to the highway. Hopefully over time the area develops more options, but hey, this is Gettysburg...tourism and farming is the only industry, so... more

We stayed for 1 night in the hotel, the first room the receptionist gave us was a room for disabeled persons, after complaining we got the right room, it was clean and had a comfortable bed, but the flashy lights from the firealarm were very disturbing. more

Don't use Mapquest to find this hotel. Call ahead for directions. This is a lovely hotel, tucked away in its own little area. In good weather, a guest can walk to one of two adjoining restaurants. We had a delicious meal there. One can also walk over to the theater. We enjoyed a movie and a nice stroll back. Even... more

Very nice, new hotel. The room was very comfortable. The pull out couch/chair was a single bed and the mattress was very nice and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a breakfast included, but they did have coffee & hot chocolate (and cookies) available in the lobby. We did not use the pool - it looked very cloudy... more

Stayed at the Courtyard for a 2 day stay in Gettysburg. It's not in the middle of town, but it's not as if the town is that big. It's fairly convenient to the park, though - more so than other hotels, I think. The hotel is very new, and the furnishings were nice. Large lobby, huge breakfast area, a bar... more

My family recently stayed here on a visit to Gettysburg. The hotel is fairly new and it shows. Everything is clean and shiny. One nice touch - the guest laundry, at least at the present time, is free. By the time we reached Gettysburg, we had been on the road for four days, and it felt good to get a... more

Stayed for 2 nights June 19-21. Booked room on short notice. Thought the room was very clean, fairly new property. Location is only 5 min by car to battlefield and downtown Gettysburg. Only dislike was lack of free breakfast. I would stay there again. If your ever in Gettysburg don't miss the Friday night bluebgrass jam session at the the... more

We picked this hotel for our planned one-night stay from South to North because all the B&Bs in Gettysburg were booked and this topped our community's list. And it fit the bill. Out of town, but away from the creepy, trinket-infested parts of town. And very accessible by car to the glorious battefields. A bit sterile, sitting in a giant... more
