The hotel is in a state of disrepair . Room was not clean at all, even leftover trash from prior guest. The front desk was rude. It took me over 45 minutes to check-in at 10:30 at night and no one else there. The sheets looked like they had not been changed from the last guest. No hot water the... more

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend our anniversary. We had not been to visit my sister since she moved to Baltimore a year or so ago, so we decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and booked a "Ghostly Getaway" weekend at the Admiral Fell Inn. We chose this hotel for 2 reasons: 1.... more

We stayed at the Admiral Fell this weekend, bringing our family poodle with us. She was greeted with their welcome dog package ( a $49 pet charge for the entire stay which they do not publicize)) but a cute package also arrived in our room with feeding dishes, dog bed, toys, brush etc. to use and take home. She was... more

I just stayed for two nights at the Admiral Fells Inn. The hotel is in a good location, but lets itself down on the following points: 1) Hotel should provide some sound insulation/double-glazing for rooms overlooking the noisy Thames Street. Many people have commented on this point already. 2) The bathroom in my room was not very clean. The bathroom... more

I stayed in the KEY room and it was large and dated looking. Sheets unironed, musty smelling. A lot of noise from other guest doors and street noise from Broadway since windows are not soundproof. It is a cute old home and common areas are lovely, but bedding was hard and uncomfortable as well as pillows. I would stay there... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Admiral Fell a few years back and it was an amazing experience...so we recently revisited the hotel for a weekend stay. Not the same as before, to be sure. We arrived to drop the car at the valet service, who was a little rude. Bear in mind here that the valet service is... more

I booked two rooms mid-week at the Admiral Fell Inn at a disounted rate of $109.00 (through TravelZoo), and was very pleased with our stay. The staff was very eager to please (above average friendliness). Our rooms were 116 and 216, and both were large, with 2 full beds in each room, and a moderately-sized bathroom. The rooms and lobby... more

Disgusting. The valet's were the only employees there who were kind and courteous. The experience specialist would not make it in the real world. No extra's at all. Full price for water taxi tickets. $9.95 extra fee. I am glad we only stayed one night. The maids were up and walking around knocking on doors to clean at 9:00 a.m. more

We spent five days there under a Johns Hopkins package. I've stayed many places, from value motels to four diamond properties, and this is one of the best trained group of personnel I've encountered. They could not have been more friendly or helpful, from shuttle driver, to front desk, to valet parking, to general help. It's easy to overlook a... more

We were in town for the weekend for a music festival in Mount Vernon. After reading a bunch of horror stories of hotels and motels in that area, we opted for this well reviewed hotel in Fells Point (about $10 cabfare away). We had the chance to explore the Inner Harbor and some other neighborhoods while we were in town... more
