Incredible inside - lobby is amazing, the hallways are intriguing (you can get lost in the corridors, but it is fascinating walk, interesting paintings, lovely furniture.) Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, some of the harbor view rooms have a bay area that provides a very romantic setting for a room service dinner. The hotel is very conveniently located, not... more

My wife, son and I stayed here while we were visiting Johns Hopkins on a college tour. All I can say is save your money and stay somewhere else. I can't recommend any other hotels in Baltimore, but as I recall the Hyatt and Marriotts were much cheaper than the Intercontinental (there's not a Ritz or Four Seasons). From the... more

We stayed for a week in August and were looking for some serious luxury as well as a convenient location. The front-desk staff was great from check-in to check-out, but we felt the hotel just lacked the general attitude and feeling you would expect from a five-star hotel. The room, while very spacious, was tired and in need of renovation.... more

Everything was fine at check-in. The valet was prompt and there was a doorman present. The room was nice, although I was hoping for a view of the harbor; instead we got a view of other rooms. We only stayed one night; apparently there was a wedding party staying in the room next to us. It sounded like there was... more

Position A in the harbour, 5 minutes from Camden and the Orieles and Ravens - great discounted rate from hotwire - stayed 2 nights - huge comfortable beds, decent sized room - nice small swimming pool with sun terrace and tennis court However business facilities were poor - the PC and internet access was barely usable -no free wifi -... more

Stayed at the Intercontinental for our anniversary over Labor Day. We tried to get into Henderson's Wharf however they were demanding 3 day reservations and we didn't have that much time. Renaissance rates were sky-high but we managed to get a view room at the Intercontinental at an advance rate of $270/night (plus taxes which jumped it to slightly over... more

Got this room via priceline for a great rate at the last second and still ended up with a huge room and great view. Flat screen tv's in both bathroom and the bedroom, and quite clean overall. Location was great across the street from the Science museum at the end of the inner harbour. Parking prices were about the norm... more

Great hotel. Excellent service, clean, comfortable rooms and location, location, location! You are right across the street from the inner harbor which provides great choices of shopping, eating and attractions. more

While the lobby impressed, it was all down hill after that. The room smelled musty, the carpet was somewhat damp and the bathroom was decaying (toilet seat was all chipped up). Room service was slow and didn't have all the items we wanted. Contacting anyone was slow. The worst part was the night. There was a train going by that... more

While visiting colleges, my son and I stayed here. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew we made the right choice. The front desk staff ( with kudos to Mr. Carter) were exceptional and wizzed us through the check-in and up to our room. The room itself was spectacular. We had been given a room with a... more
