I'll try to be as fair as I can with this review. We're not big fans of "luxury" hotels that charge high room rates and then try to al la carte you to death with the "extras." The location is Savannah's best, right on the heart of River St., but we were there for a conference with a tightly planned... more

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and local historical sites. The front desk staff was friendly, and the bell staff were prompt, efficient and helpful. I asked for a late check out on a Saturday, the latest they could offer was 1PM, better than nothing since my meeting ended at 12noon. They did store... more

I am a very frequent Hyatt traveler not only because of the quality of the hotels but also because of the attitude of the staff. The Hyatt Regency Savannah most definitely did not live up to par with regard to staff efficiency or attitude. I realize that as a hotel guest I can experience problems or issues; this is normal.... more

Yes..you will love the city of Savannah, but that s another story in itself.... I travel back and forth to Savannah often wirth my daughter whos art work is in a Gallary @ City Market...so once a month is about average. We have been doing this for over a year now. I have researched many hours, & slept in many... more

My stay at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah was one of the best "chain hotel' experiences I've ever had. The hotel's location was great, central to River Street and the Historic District. The excellent customer service began with the parking valet and the bellman, who graciously and respectfully opened the doors for my mother and me, carefully removed our bags... more

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Once we checked in we were upgraded to a room with the views of the river. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a Savannah stay! more

I stayed here as part of a professional gathering. We used their meeting rooms and banquet faciliies. I stayed in a room that was part of a suite- the room was large and comfortable. My bed was outstanding- slept incredible well. I do not usually sleep well when I am out of town. You can't beat the location either- right... more

My husband, daughter and I stayed here one night over Labor Day weekend. We booked using Priceline ($60! hotel website rate was $169), so we loved the price. The room was clean, nicely furnished and nicely decorated. The location cannot be beat...River Street runs under the hotel, so dining, drinks and shopping are all around you. The hotel has valet... more

This was my first visit to any Hyatt and I had high expectations for service, given the name. I stayed one night: 4th of July. The price was around $200. You can't beat the location, especially for the fireworks. We just went down the elevator and were there. No battle for parking. The staff I encountered at the front desk... more
