This hotel has a great location. It is one block from Canal and Bourbon St. the rooms are a little small and they are a little loud because they all face inward (with a window facing the inside of the hotel) to a 6 or 7 story atrium. Two of the three nights I woke up to loud talking or... more
We stayed here for 7 nights for Mardi Gras 2007 and couldn't have been happier! The location absolutely can't be beat for watching the parades! We'd head out, set up out chairs, come back in and have a cocktail at the bar and when the parade began to start, we'd head back out. In addition, the hotel always had coffee... more
My husband and I attended Mardi Gras 2005 and stayed at the Courtyard. We've been to NOLA many times before, but this was the first time staying at the CBD Courtyard. The location was great, very convenient to the French Quarter, and the staff was great. The rooms were clean and our experience could not have been better! more
A nice hotel one block from Bourbon Street. The rooms itself are a little small, and the only windows face inside the hotel, but the location is perfect! Since the area itself near the hotel is very constricted, valet parking at $22.00 per night is your only option. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced with all the basic foods you'd... more
After 4 nights at the Hyatt attending a conference, we moved to the Courtyard. The Hyatt was too far from the French Quarter. The Courtyard was only 1 block from the beginning of Bourbon St., and within walking distance of most of the Quarter. Each morning we by-passed the Breakfast at the Courtyard and caught the Street Car right outside... more
My wife and I stayed here for three nights during this year's Jazzfest. We were very happy with the location, just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter. The staff was mostly pleasant and accomodating, however, the room was not that great. The room (single, queen) was very small and not as clean as I would've liked it. The... more
I've stayed in many New Orleans hotels, but the Courtyard on St. Charles was by far the best. In a city where small rooms are the norm, the Courtyard has surprizingly large rooms. Ours was very clean, very quiet (even though the street car passed just below us). The staff here is extremely professional and friendly. The breakfast is superb... more
We stayed here for the recent 2004 ASM conference and absolutely loved this hotel. The service was first-class, and the employees were very pleasant and helpful to their guests. The complimentary Wall Street Journal newspaper was a fabulous extra. The hotel is close to the French Quarter and public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel to other travellers on business... more
This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to all the sites from Bourbon ST to the Riverwalk. The staff was very friendly and happy to assist. The first room I checked into had a very strong odor, and the staff was very accomodating in switching my room. Some of the rooms have balconies, which are very fun... more
