We stayed at the American Creole House October - December, 2005 after Katrina. My company rented all three suites for our restoration crews. The first thing that still comes to mind here, is that this hotel is located within/behind a travel agency. So when you showup and are trying to find the place...it IS that travel agency on the corner. The second thing is, it is only technically located in the Garden District. We have stayed at the american creole house in New Orleans several time over the last couple of years. This is a great hotel in a great location.
