I stayed in New Orleans at the Quarter House during the State Farm Bayou Classic. The Quater House is in a prime location in the French Quarter one block off of Canal Street and two blocks from Bourbon Street. I stayed in unit 119 which was the Andrew Jackson two-bath, two-bedroom suite on the first floor. Each bedroom is on... more

The Quarter House is a great place to stay. The suites are elegant and well appointed. The rooms have everything you need and are very plush! more

Traded a marriott timeshare week for this location. The property is beutiful with a great location near everything. My only problem with this establishment is the front desk staff. Staff is very occupied with all things other than guest service. hard to get many of the front desk staff to make eye contact much less offer any tye of assistance.... more

We definitely had some problems with this property. We were originally in the old section of the hotel by the elevators (Rm 403). The 1 bedroom was too small for 4 people. We had to move all of the furniture out of the living room to pull out the sofabed and there was no way a cot could fit in... more

We really liked the decor of the hotel, the brick walls and the old fashion charm.. We loved the courtyard with the swimming pool and hot tub. It gave it a real atmosphere. The room itself was very nicely decorated and laid out. The bathroom and kitchen were quite modern. The staff, both front end and maintenance staff were very... more

We exchanged our week to stay at this hotel. The reviews were mixed and we felt mixed about this resort as well. Although it is in a pretty decent location within the French Quarter, the hotel itself was not what I would consider Gold Crown. The rooms are in desperate need of renovations, especially the bathrooms. We are not picky... more

We always stay at the Quarter House when we go to New Orleans. Located in the French Quarter, within walking distance to everything. Most restaurants will deliver there if you get stuck in your suite :) We generally have a two bedroom, two bath. They come with a well-equipped kitchen (blender, toaster, pots, pans, ample dishes, flatware, knives...), washer &... more

Great location with easy walking access to the whole French Quater and the Riverwalk area. Rooms were nice, but not spectactular. Bathroom was on the small side. Staff was on the whole not overly freindly with a few exceptions. Checking in and unloading was a bit of problem due to no space on the street. Parking is $18.00 a day... more

We exchanged our Marriott timeshare for a week in this resort which was rated as five stars. Though the location is great, easily accessible to most anything you might care to do, the Quarter House is in much need of repair. The pool looked filthy, the elevator left us off on the wrong floors and they do have mice!! Not... more

I booked this resort thru interval and loved it. It is the best location. You are at Chatres & Canal street. Bourbon street is just two blocks up and there's a Walgreens one block up (note: it closes promptly at 9PM). The staff is nice enough. Not excellent service but what do you want, the city just went thru a... more
