The other reviews are right on target. Wish I would have read them before I went there. Please read them all. It was like they were on our trip with us. Please stay away!!! more

My husband and I just returned from our horrible stay at this horrible "hotel". This hotel should be shut down, due to truly unsanitary conditions. The photos posted on the website are totally inaccurate. Upon checkin, the room given to us was already occupied. That did not stop the front desk from giving us that room and KEYS to that... more

This was a horrible hotel! I need to echo another statement that it should be shut down. Yes, it's on Canal St. and close to the Stadium, but empty, rundown buildings surround it. Creepy people run it and are not helpful at all. The amenities listed on the website do not exist. The guests we ran into were also not... more

I booked a reservation here through american airlines vacations. It wasn't in the best of areas. When we stepped in, the lobby was really nice. I thought it wouldn't be too bad. As soon as we left the lobby and took the elevator to the room we started to smell a gross mildewy smell. There were flickering lights in the... more

The hotel was nothing like it looked on the website. The tubs were dirty, only one elevator worked, the hot water didn't work, or the air conditioner. Many people were upset because they booked the room on hotels.com and couldn't get their money back. I left the hotel and never stayed because of its poor conditions. I was told that I... more

This place should be closed down. The over all appearance of the hotel from the out side is very charming. however the inside left much to be desired. The hallways inside leading to our room was very dirty ( keeping in mind the hallways are inside the building and carpeted) and had a smell that I could not place. When... more

This was BY FAR the jankiest hotel I have ever looked at, much less stayed in. The woman at the front desk and her trashy friend went on and on about Obama and how they didn't care if he got assassinated as long as they got welfare and food stamps. Then we make our way to our room. At first... more

At first appearence this hotel from the front looks great, but the website photos are very deceiving and it is very obvious upon entering. The elevators are now working but the doors shake. Our room was on the 3 rd floor, the roof was falling apart, showers yuk, the phone did not have a cord, but the worst was the... more

A friend and I needed a place to stay in New Orleans close to the French Quarter for a reasonable rate over Halloween. I thought I could deal with a no-frills place, but this place was utterly inadequate. To begin with, the free parking was in an unattended parking garage attached to the building which was not well lighted. We're... more
