I booked my room prior to seeing all the bad reviews on this site. I must admit, I went there expecting the worst. The lobby was clean and the staff were very nice to me upon my arrival so I started to feel a little better. I was given a room on the sixth floor in the main building, not... more

The Best Western Landmark was very nice. Our room was clean and properly maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the first night was quiet. The second night was awful. There was a reception in the party room. The music was so loud we could hear it in our room. We will NOT be returning to this hotel. We are... more

Smelly, unclean and worn. Not worth the money. Breakfast costs $8 and is worse than what you get for free at some other places. I wont go back and will try to avoid anything associated with Best Western. It does not stand for quality. more

I stayed at this hotel for just 1 night due to flying out of the New Orleans airport the next morning. Everything about the room was just fine, my only problem was the front desk area needs a little work, and there was not really a good spot for my car during check-in. I would stay at this hotel again,... more

Let me first start off by saying that the reviews that I read on this site were accurate in it's description of this hotel. I wished that I had listened rather than ignore them. My family and I stayed at this hotel from July 15th - July 19th. When we checked in we were intially assigned to room 914. As... more

We stayed at this hotel July 1 - 5 during the Essence Music Festival. Unfortunately, the only positive note of our stay at this hotel was that we were allowed to check in early! The hotel definitely shows its age and wear. The ceiling tiles are dingy and the tile and carpet in the lobby and common areas are worn... more

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The rooms were quiet, clean, inexpensive and everything functioned just fine. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful and courteous. It is rather far out so would not be my choice for an extended visit to New Orleans, but for short stays and coming and going from Louis B Armstrong... more

We queued to check-in not because the staff were particularly busy but they were having a wonderful time joking with each other and totally ignoring the guests waiting to be checked in. Eventually we were given our key and went to our room where I unfortunately took my shoes off, the water came oozing up between my toes, the entire... more

We had nothing but problems with this place, no hot water, smelled funny, unreliable shuttles, rude staff, and an enormous blood stain on my bed (or at least that is what it looked like), no fitted sheets, etc etc. I would rather stay in a tent more

Stayed there twice - first stay was in the newer "rectangular" section and was fine. LAST stay was in the older "round tower" section. The carpets were old and dirty. The bedspreads were also old and dirty. The sheets were worn. Worst of all, the sliding glass door to the balcony could not be closed and left a 1" gap... more
