This hotel is very old...and dated. The beds are very uncomfortable, as are the pillows and linens (so scratchy). The plumbing is so old it makes all kinds of noises all over the hotel. If a person three doors down was showering, we knew about it! The lobby is okay, with nice chandeliers...but needs CLEANING. The furniture is so old... more

I was traveling for work and received a comp hotel room here. I was very happy with the location. There is a great bar with a beautiful courtyard across the street, a wonderful French store around the corner, and entertainment all around. The rooms are very small, the customer service is so-so. Lots of character though. Good local Community Coffee... more

Spent 2 nights at this overated hotel. Great location for a stay in the French Quarter. We had 10 couples staying for a wedding and each couple had a completely different size room for the same price??? One room was extremely tiny, others were huge - all for the same price. Front desk personnel were horrible!!! Arrived to find no... more

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday and I had booked 4 rooms. We had problems with the final billing for 3 of those bills. I received an internet rate of $64 a night, but the bill indicated $127 and we were charged for a valet service that we did not have for one room. Check your billing statement. Also, the... more

Got a great price on our stay at the Bourbon Orleans, and I was hoping the few positive reviews would match our experience. We got checked in okay, if a little slow. The lobby is very nice, and the room seemed very nice as well when we got into it. One lamp didn't work; there was a stain on the... more

This is a really nice hotel in the most central location you will find in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The hotel is situated on the corner of Bourbon and Orleans Street. We stayed in one of the Courtyard facing rooms and there was complete peace and quite. You would never know that Bourbon St was right outside the... more

We stayed Mondaythrough Wednesday so the crowds on Bourbon Street were pretty tame. We had a 5th floor room with balcony on Orleans and didn't hear anything (not even the trash trucks in the a.m.). Room was very nice and clean. Bed not so comfy, but the location and breakfast made up for it. They had a weekend stay package... more

We've stayed at the Bourbon Orleans several times over the years and always enjoyed our stay; particularly for the location. Yes, the outside rooms can be a little noisy but lots of hotels in/near Bourbon street can be that way. Request an inside room (courtyard view) instead. We've never had a real problem regarding noise. Staff are always nice and... more

This was one of my best stays in New Orleans. This was our first time back since Katrina, me and my wife were going every year before that. The hotel staff was great. I got a good deal from there web site and the room was clean and ready upon arrival. The only complaint I had was that the waitress... more

Check in was at 4pm and our room was not ready. We had to wait an hour and ask them again if the room was ready. The sheets had Pubic hair all over them after the room was made up. We had them put new sheets with less hair on them. Wife refused to use the top sheets. The next... more
