I chose this place because it is close to Mount Rushmore. (It is a 20 minute drive.) It is situated on Custer's main street, so it's very easy to find and is in the middle of the local restaurants and shops. The room was very basic - there wasn't even an iron/ironing board. We arrived late to this hotel and were very tired after traveling 5 hours. I had called earlier to make sure the extra cot was in the room and when we arrived it was not only there but made up! When I booked this hotel it was a Travelodge, sometime they changed their name and the company I was to get my points with, not resolved yet.
