This hotel was ok but a bit shabby which I found suprising as it is one of the main hotels downtown. Our tub was worn. Furniture was old. Carpet was old also. Nothing special about this hotel except the fitness room. Very nice. Crappy coffee maker. more
Nothing really wrong with this hotel, but undoubtedly because of the need to make their money during the short high season, the price is pretty extreme for what you get. Otherwise, its got a good location in the city, has very friendly staff, and the rooms while on the small side are nicely done. more
The worst value of any hotel I've ever stayed at, anywhere in the world. The staff is okay. Friendly, if not terribly competent. It's in a good location. I'm trying to be positive here. But this hotel is old, ugly, there are stains on the carpet, it's expensive, needs a coat of paint on the walls. I've stayed here several... more
The Hilton Anchorage is two towers, with a series of meeting rooms, two restaurants and bar. It is a busy place, with lots of one night stays among those coming and going for cruises. The furniture is not the newest, and the lobby is sometimes packed, but the staff work very hard to see that things are clean and well... more
We spent 5 days at the Anchorage Hilton. We stayed on the Club Floor and enjoyed the benefits of the Club Lounge. The staff were all excellent, as was the entire stay. There is not too much to write, as the Hotel is an excellent Oasis in the middle of an awesome city. A long way from Australia. If you... more
I stayed here while on a land based tour of Alaska on Princess Cruises. The room was a standard one that one would typically see at most hotels. My only complaint was the drapes not being thick enough to block out the midnight sun, so I ended up having a somewhat restless night with the sun shining through the room.... more
I stayed at this hotel at the end of a Holland America land tour. I was in the Anchorage Tower facing the harbor and train station. I am really surprised at the poor reviews of this hotel. It is in an excellent location. Airconditioning works well and with the windows closed you can not hear the trains which seemed to... more
We come to Anchorage for business a couple of times a year - we have stayed in the Hilton now quite a few times. The service is always pleasant, and the room was very good. This time we were in the Anchorage Tower (as opposed to the West Tower), and found the rooms to be a bit more modern. Our... more
Stayed one night (1st night) as part of Holland American tour. Room was small, some shabbiness, well worn - not what one expects from a Hilton. Hotel overwhelmed with Holland American guests and other tour groups (Carnival???) - multiple tours! Glad I was not there on my own. Would not stay here if not part of tour especially during peak... more
