Upon check-in, front desk woman quoted $99+tax. I signed a piece of paper, agreeing to this price. Upon check-out, a different front desk woman added $25 fee to the price of the room. I contested the additional charge. The woman rudely brushed me off and walked away from me. My boyfriend approached the front desk and contested the charge. The... more

The best things you can say about the place is that it is close to the old market area, the rooms are big, you get a free breakfast and it is less expensive than other area hotels. The cons include that it is very dated. The bedding and all of the amenities are in need of total replacement. The breakfast... more

We stayed here sixteen years ago on our wedding night and I thought that we would celebrate our anniversary here. What a difference sixteen years makes. There has been no updating or major renovations made to this place since 1992. The building smells. The main entrance smelled like a musty person spent the night there. When we walked into our... more

We were traveling cross-country and called ahead on the phone to every downtown Omaha hotel, wanting to splurge for once and explore a city on foot, rather than stay on the fringe to save money. They were all (every single one) 189.00 a night, (suspiciously enough), except the Redick, which was 70.00 less. Wanting very much to stay in town... more

Okay, I spent one night here this past weekend. First, let me some up with the positives: 1. Great Location (excellent for downtown) 2. Friendly staff 3. Large Rooms 4. Free wireless internet The bad? Well it ain't the Four Seasons! This place is like something right out of an 80's design magazine. The rooms were clean and quite large,... more

I have never been more scared in my life! The hotel staff was not at all professional. Take a look at their shuttles. Dented, dinged, missing hubcaps. The Shuttle Driver hit on me several times despite wearing a wedding ring. The room I stayed in had carpet that waved-was not stuck to the floor. It was clean, but everything IN... more

This is not a review of a stay, as the hotel never received our reservation so we did not stay here. I made a reservation via the hotel's own web site and received a confirmation number. After reviewing comments about the hotel on TripAdvisor, I decided to book elsewhere and I called the Redick to cancel our reservation. I was... more

After searching several different locations in the Old Market district of Omaha, we decided on the Reddick Plaza hotel. Please note - this location is NOT in the Old Market, as advertised. Also, their website advertises a hotel bar and dining room on the premises - there were neither. The website also advertised a gym - which was "under construction"... more

Please reconsider your stay. The Front office 'manager' was of no help. A) The shuttle leaves on their schedule, not yours. B) Rooms have carpet that is not uniform and waves in places to trip on. C) The 'upgrade ' they offer does not upgrade anything. Tv's are something out of the late 80's. The treadmill in my Redick Suite... more

We stayed here this past weekend - Oct. 13-14, 2006, and had a good experience! Though old, the hotel is clean and has character. Our corner room was huge. I liked the art deco touches in the lobby. more
