We've stayed here before and probably will again. We paid for the weekend package of $149 per night for Friday and Saturday (plus onerous taxes that are not HI's responsibility). The important thing about the price is that it includes free parking at a location that is practically across the street from a T station that is only a few... more

The Hampton Inn at Cambridge, MA is located across the street from the Lechmere T station. Also there is no charge for underground parking. Breakfast was very good, with lots of selections. Great location for touring Boston and nearby Salem and Concord. more

We stayed 2 nights and my only problem is that there is no pool. Otherwise the rooms were very clean, comfy and the location is just far enough outside the city but located close enough to the green line/subway/train line. We love Hampton Inn and would gladly stay again. Driving is; like the other reviewer said-NOT RECOMMENDED!Take the train if... more

Hotel and breakfast was fine. Close to the train which is great because you do NOT want to drive in Boston. The streets are hard to navigate, parking is horrible, and the drivers are not patient w/ tourists who don't know where they are going. Other than being convenient to the train, there was not much around the hotel such... more

The reviews were accurate--this place is reasonable for Boston and, best of all, has free parking. It's just a half-block from the Green Line T, which takes you right into Boston. The staff was friendly and accommodating--the front desk clerk even gave me a T-pass that another guest had left behind. Internet connection in the room was slower than in... more

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel was pretty much what we expected from previous reviews. 100 yards from Lechmere T stop makes getting around Boston easy. A Shaw's grocery store about 3 blocks away for water/snacks. Also Cambridgeside Galleria Mall was about 5-10 minute walk away. Breakfast was maybe average for Hampton Inn. Definitely got old after 4 days. No... more

Just spent 4 nights here over Memorial Day weekend. We had a wonderful stay at this Hampton. Staff was very friendly, responded to our needs immediately. The room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good, a great way to start each day of sightseeing. The location was good, just a few stops on the "T" to get... more

The was the #1 rated spot in Cambridge last summer when we booked it. Yes, its close to the subway, but it is across a busy street with no light and no real businesses or foot traffic. The area felt a little sketchy but the hotel was a nice average Hampton Inn. Rooms were average. Only negative: we had a... more

I read the reviews and thought this may be a great property. when I arrived I thought I was at the wrong hotel. It is not in a good section of town and it is on a very busy highway which makes for a very long night. I am a Hilton honors member and they have my prefrences (high floor/non-smoking/away... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in February 08. The Hotel is spotless the staff cheerful and very helpful (especially Raphael). The Rooms are excellent and spacious, the beds extremely comfortable. The Breakfast is also excellent with a very wide choice. The area is ok the subway is just opposite and good for downtown (4 stops). Parking is underneath the Hotel... more
