Was booked to stay here through work...couldn't choose my own hotel, this is where they stuck me. GROSS! This is 2 star at best. Rooms are VERY old, dirty and look like they haven't been vacuumed in 17 years. My family and I stayed at the Wyndham over Easter Break. Very disappointed in the overall appearance of the hotel. I expected so much more. Our room was dirty and needed a serious face lift. This hotel is located in an area of downtown which was convenient for some Atlanta activities in which we wanted to pertake. The only reason we booked our stay there was due to our Wyndham (formerly Fairfield) timeshare ownership. Even though it is an associate hotel -- I still expected more from a Wyndham property. I stayed at the Wyndham Midtown for a week while in Atlanta on business in July 2007. Main reasons I booked here were the close proximity to the office where I was working, and everywhere else was booked up. This place needs a major overhaul. The hotel was better than expected based on the reviews I read on TripAdvisor. The room was rather large, the staff pleasant. With free membership in the frequent guest program you are entitled to free internet and long distance calling...not bad! Room was large, clean and bathroom was clean, if a bit dated in decor. Nice toiletries, too. more
