The Abington Hotel just off the junction 13 M74 has got free wifi internet access. I use it when travelling to Scotland to pick up email and use the internet. When travelling on business I prefer to stay at “non chain” hotels rather than the Premier/Travelodge type of place. Stayed 1 night in April 07. Not bad at all. May cater for the older customer but to be honest found all the staff (in particular young chap on reception) to be very friendly. Paid single room rate and got a double, room fine, clean tidy not really “dated”, would stay again. more
