We stayed at the marriott on the way to yellowston national park. I purchased the room on priceline for $85 with taxes. it was a great hotel, very clean, nice location. If you are in the area be sure to eat at the Grand America Hotel Cafe. it is outstanding! more

Great stay in SLC. Close to MANY restaurants of wide variety. Went there for a convention and was very pleased with pretty much everything. This hotel had THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS anywhere. Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown was awful!! Terrible service. They charge you $14.00 to park at the hotel. They booked us a non-smoking room but then oversold Rooms. Since the Inn at Temple Square closed in 2006, I've stayed at the Marriott and the Hilton. I'm at the Gold level in the Hilton frequent stay program, but the Marriott is my first choice in Salt Lake. We had a room on the top floor due to an upgrade. We also had a bottle of champagne. Our bed was super comfy. The executive lounge was wonderful and the staff was excellent. We booked on priceline and got the marriott. How perfect is that? Mormon town and staying in a mormon owned hotel. The hotel was great nothing extraordinary but definitely would stay here again. more
