As the closest hotel to the Tucson Medical Center, we were pleasantly surprised that the cost was very reasonable and the rooms were so well equipped. While we had no need for all the amenities, If one was staying awhile, it would be almost like being home. Also, for the price it was very clean and well maintained. In the future, I... more

After looking over the model room we decided to book a room for 2 weeks. It looked clean enough no frills but clean and nice with the small kitchen with stove top, microwave and fridge.Upon checking into our room it smelled like stale smoke, was very dusty and had crumbs on the chairs. Feeling that we could deal with and... more

When I drove up to the hotel, it looked really seedy and there were dubious looking people loitering the parking lot and street and the office is very hard to find --- hidden from view. When I tried to check in using my Priceline info. The girl at the front desk refused to check me in even though she received... more

Clearly this hotel is geared for the long-term business traveler who wants a basic, no-frills room at the lowest possible price. I'm not sure that I would recommend Extended Stay America at the normal rack rate. It was obvious to me... more

I was assigned this hotel by Priceline after bidding $32 a night for a 2 star hotel in East Tucson. I checked in at 3:30 pm, so I thought I would get a decent room. The clerk claimed to only have 3 non-smoking rooms in the whole place, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. The room itself was... more

This is a good little hotel for the price. It was clean and has the features of an apartment (frig, microwave, etc). There's a CVS and an IHOP close by, as well as a lot of other shopping and restaurants. I was on the first floor in back and it was quiet as well. I don't think there is a... more

My partner and I went to Tucson May of 2005 to stay at what was supposed to be a lovely "Natural" B & B for my birthday--the B & B (which I will rate separately) was awful--after one night there, we cancelled our stay (the owner of the sleazy joint insisted on charging us for both of the nights we... more
