This Hotel is Wonderful! - NOT the "same-old, same-old" in any way. We've stayed twice in 2008 and are planning our next stay. . Each room has its own charm as well as a very comfy bed, very clean bathroom, A/C, and original decorating. The overall atmosphere make us feel quite romantic. We find the staff to be very friendly... more

We stayed here for four days in June & the hotel is quite charming. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms are a decorated in an old Havana style & are quite nice. The hotel is about four blocks from the riverwalk main area, but is not too far to walk. The cigar bar was really nice for... more

We stayed @ the Havana Riverwalk Inn for 4 days during Fiesta. While the location is a little off the beaten path, it was directly on the Riverwalk and only a few blocks to all the action during Fiesta. If you are looking for a 5 star luxury hotel, this is not the place for you. BUT if you are... more

We've stayed in a number of the better hotels on the Riverwalk, but this is definitely the most interesting hotel experience we've had -- in a good way. The hotel has modern amenities but an amazing old-world feel to it. The bar in the hotel basement, Club Cohiba, is amazing. The staff was very friendly as well. Despite the thick... more

for those who are used to the sanitized, sterilized, cookie cutter blah of chain hotels, this is NOT for you. for those wishing to experience something a bit more rich in culture, history, a walk into an era long gone and feel as if you've been transported back in time ... THIS is for you. i had booked a room... more

I have stayed at this hotel for many years - dozens of times. Of late I have been there when: a guest was trapped (undiscovered) in the elevator for hours and rescued FINALLY by firemen to having ozone detector alarms going off in the middle of the night - with the staff being surly about this to me - this... more

My wife and I stayed here for an interview we had to be at in San Antonio and therefore did not book or pay for the hotel (It was set up by the company), and it was a good thing, i wouldn't have payed. At first glance it seemed neat, especially on their website, and even after being in the... more

I stayed two nights in a rather large "room," with a bedroom, sitting room, porch room, and a large bath, including a double shower. The moment I walked into the Havana, I felt I had stepped back into time, like an old western hotel. I didn't see anything (except the phone, clock, etc.) that was not antique. Yet they have... more

Having returned from a long weekend Labor Day weekend at The Havana River walk Inn, I wanted to contribute a positive review. I was a bit reluctant to stay here after reading the other reviews. However, I was glad that we did. The hotel is very charming, once you step into the lobby you feel like you have been transported... more

My husband and I stayed at the Havana Riverwalk for our anniversary. We used a gift certificate we won at his office holiday party last year, and I must say, I'm glad we didn't pay out of pocket. The place is very charming in a funky, musty, staying-in-someone's-old-house kind of way. Someone put a lot of thought into the decor... more
