We have stayed at the hotel several times. It is with quiet nice, courteous staff, and clean rooms. The restaurant on the ground level facing the beach is a bit overpriced, especially for dinner ; the service staff can be a bit surly . There is a sushi restaurant at the hotel which we have never tried. There are some... more

We had the most amazing time at the New Otani. I never ever wrote a hotel review in my life although me and my husband have travelled a lot and usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world. But after our trip to the New Otani I decided I had to. I chose the hotel because of... more

If you're looking for a hotel away from the craziness of Waikiki area stay here. The hotel is right across from the Kapiolani Park and the Sans Souci Beach is right behind the hotel. We loved the beach area - there is a lifeguard daily - there are no crowds - the beach is raked daily - you can even... more

I just returned from a week at the New Otani and overall it was a very good stay. The location is the strongest point for the hotel and mostly makes up for some weaknesses in the rooms. The hotel is located on a quiet stretch of beach slightly out of the craziness of Waikiki. It was about a 15 -... more

I have wanted to go to Hawaii since I was a child and with help of this Hotel and its staff it was a "Dream come true". Everything was great at the hotel and the room was perfect, sea view and looking towards Waikiki beach. The beach outside of the hotel was great and the little coffee shop as you come... more

We chose this hotel due to the reviews here on trip advisor. Excellent location away from the hustle and busle of downtown wakai. Excellent beach outside the hotel with good snorkelling. Shop close by for snacks etc. Would recomend paying that little extra for a room with a view as we had the view of the next hotel (but hey... more

We moved to the New Otani after starting at another hotel (Aqua Bamboo) that just didn't live up to our expectations. I was on my morning walk on the second day of our trip when I happened across the New Otani. It was a little ways from where we were staying, but it is in a very quiet end of... more

Hotel has everything we needed and is in a great location. There is a small quiet beach and its just far enough from the crowds of Honolullu to be able to walk there for a meal or drink. The front desk staff were ok but could have been more helpful.Rooms were a good size and clean more

We were looking forward to some peace and quiet after spending 5 hectic nights with a group of over 100 people. At check in I asked for an upgrade from our Ocean View room (hoping for a Deluxe Ocean View) and we were given a Junior Suite (Room 318) without any hassle at all. Our room was on the same... more

Being our first time in Honolulu we were weary to try and find a place on our own. Our travel agent helped us with this one. We stayed five nights. The first room we were given was a shoe box. My agent said it was small but we never thought it would be as small as it was. It was... more
