We stayed in a triple room (1 bedroom with lounge area) which was quite nice. The lounge, kitchen area and balcony were spacious, but the batchroom and bedroom were really small. The place was clean and comfortable. There was a wet patch on the floor in the bedroom which we assumed was coming from the air conditioner, but it was... more

Just spent 4 nights at the Pacific Monarch at $109/nite. The good: 1. Location, very close to the beach (hotel is behind the Hyatt) 2. Very friendly employees 3. Large room with kitchenette 4. Fast elevators 5. Pretty quiet The bad: 1. Kind of shabby 2. Awful "view" (and to be fair, we did know we were getting a "city... more

We booked our hotel via the website and the room was ok. We had selected an ocean view, but rec'd a partial ocean view and a view of Diamond Head. Swimming pool is VERY small (rooftop), so beware of this is you just like to stay by the pool. Great location and great front desk staff. Probably the best front... more

This hotel is great. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the location is wonderful. It's just two blocks from the beach and mintues away from shopping and nightlife. I would stay here again. more

We stayed in the Pacific Monarch in September. We were greated with a basket of fruit and a fantastic view of the city. Everything was very close but it was also quiet despite being downtime in Waikiki. The cost was very reasonable. Rooms were very clean and taken care of daily. more

After I booked this hotel I was a little skeptical, but after staying there, I must say,it was a good choice. It was a great location and the room and service was great. Our room was on the 11th floor and what a view of the ocean. When we arrived there was a problem with the toilet, within minutes there... more

My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights with our three children in Room 1802. We are travelled from Australia and chose this hotel as it was next door to the hotel in which our friends from the UK were staying. We read the reviews thoroughly and after discarding the reviews in which guests stayed in rooms not run... more

The customer service was great. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They made sure they met our needs in a timely manner. Our room was located on the 25th floor and we had amazing views of the beach, city, and mountains. Nights were romantic with sounds of the ocean and lights of the city. Our patio allowed us to... more

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights while in Hawaii for a family wedding. Our family member who lives in Waikiki booked it directly with the hotel so I'm not sure how the prices will compare but they seemed very reasonable. The rooms were large with very well equiped kitchen area (including a rice cooker...which we... more
