We stayed at The Crane for four days during our honeymoon. We will not be back, though the resort has some very good points. Pros: 1. The beach and pools are very nice. The Crane beach was one of if not the best we saw in Barbados. Jumping off the cliff is great fun. 2. The grounds are pretty and... more

Had a wonderful time at The Crane and am looking forward to my return already! I stayed in a ground floor room with a fantastic pool and great views of the ocean. I was skeptical that the "One of the 10 Best Beaches" was an embellishment - but to my delight, it was! I have seen a few nice beaches... more

We stayed at the Crane for our honeymoon 11/10/08 to 11/14/08 before going to the Grenadines. We knew before booking this hotel that it was under construction. When we got there, it wasn't a surprise to us and didn't really affect our stay. We were amazed at how fast they actually worked. from morning till sundown nonstop. From the looks... more

My husband and I stayed at The Crane in September. The views at the resort are uncomparable. We stayed in a oceant front room with plunge pool. The rooms are very large and have all of the amenities you could possibly need. Yes, some of the rooms need a little updating, but even with this necessity we found our room... more

This was our second time at the Crane. The airport is only 15 minutes away ( but not close enough to disturb the peace) and we were in our room with a glass of rum punch in hand within an hour of landing! The main attraction for us is the quietness of the resort. It sprawls over a fair area... more

We just came back from our 3rd time at The Crane and as usual we had a wonderful time. The Crane is in the most stunning location, the pools, rooms etc are huge and beautifully colonial in design. Restaurants are excellent, staff are lovely (as are most Bajan people). Pefect beach, lovely gardens etc etc. However, there are always those... more

Stayed here for a week in early November. Good points: Enormous rooms (we were in block 4) with a 28ft pool - lovely to have a dip first thing in the morning - water temperature the same as the main pools. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful side of the island - we had a hired car which I feel... more

My husband and I stayed at The Crane September 15th-21st for our honeymoon. We fell in love with the pictures on-line and the hotel looks just as it does online. We arrived at the airport late, but quickly found a cab, and upon our arrival were quickly shown to our hotel room. We stayed in the older part of the... more

We stayed October 11th through 18th. Rooms are as depicted in hotel photographs, however some of the furnishings are beginning to show some wear and tear. The sofa in our room was stained and the furniture was scratched and showing some signs of abuse. Housekeeping did fabulous job, room kept quite clean. Towels can sometimes be a problem, called to... more

My husand and I have been to The Crane twice now. We went for our honeymoon in 2006 and returned in 2007 to relive the experience. It is by far one of our favorite places to go and relax and enjoy life. The resort and grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious with a high attention to detail. The... more
