We booked our 12 day holiday at Camping Butterfly through Canvas. There were initially 6 of us sharing a Jubilee 29 midi, for which the caravan was far too small, smaller than anything I have stayed in in England. For 4 people the caravan is OK. They had air conditioning which was needed, as very hot in August. Didnt find... more

Just back from a 5 night stay that I booked directly with Butterfly. We stayed in a Verona caravan and it was plenty big enough for 2 adult and 2 small kids. It was nearly half the price that eurocamp and canvas had quoted us. Very friendly and small site, not many brits mostly dutch or italians. All the kids... more

Just back from a 2 week holiday in Camping Butterfly in Peschiera on the southern shore of Lake Garda. We booked a "Festival-Midi", mobile home type accomodation with Canvas - What a mistake! First of all it wasn't cleaned properly with cobwebs everywhere. This was down to the onsite Canvas staff. And secondly, it was the smallest accomodation we have... more

Just back from 10 days in Venetia Style mobile home in Camp Butterfly. Do not recommed this mobile for any more than 3 people, too small for any more. We had two adults and three children and found it very cramped. Reception staff ok, bar and restaurant staff not very friendly on the defensive all the time, closes at 11pm!!!... more

We have just returned from two weeks at Camping Butterfly and thorougly enjoyed our stay there. We travelled from Gatwick Airport to Verona Airport with BA and had pre booked a taxi transfer from the airport to the campsite which took about 20 minutes. We did not hire a car for this holiday.
