Accommodation was OK but dated. Villa was full of ants. We could not leave food anywhere. This resort is clean, friendly and well run with excellent reception staff. It is child friendly with a lovely pool and some children's activities run by the animator. We stayed via an exchange through RCI, we travelled from Bournemouth with Palmair who were excellent, we also hired a car through Record cars - crap service had to wait ages in airport on way out and in office on return. The accomodation is superb, the pool great but the aircraft noise is awful as it is under the approach path for the southern airport. We are Sunterra members and have been to this resort twice. Once the summer 05 and again in the winter 05. The accomodation is lovely, very clean. Not alot on site. Gulf del Sur is approximately five minutes away from Tenerife South Airport and is slightly more exposed to winds from the Sahara Desert than other more popular resorts.
