We had a 2 night break at Sunnybank and had a wonderful relaxing break. Peaceful location with fabulous views, spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was well worth the extra with a lovely bath with a view and a lovely touch to have both candles and bubble bath provided! Wonderful breakfast with locally sourced produce... more

Fabulous 1820 house with stunning views. Re-furbished to the highest standard. Beautiful bed-linen, and bathroom with the wow factor. Peter and Anne go beyond the call of duty to make your stay special. Delicious breakfast with fresh local produce, including home-made marmalade served in a delightful little pot. Toiletries from The White Company, chocolate on your pillow, Yorkshre Tea and... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in May. It was our third B&B in a row at the start of our holiday, but it was by far the best quality and best value for money. Anne and Peter were very friendly and helpful. On several occasions Peter printed out some maps for us to help us get... more

We valued our stay at Sunnybank because we had a prompt, personal reply on email with full information concerning maps (directions) facilities, places of interest. We felt confident in our choice and we were not disappointed! Our accomodation was attractive, well appointed, luxurious and sparklingly clean! Our arrival was welcoming, friendly and considerate. Our breakfast was from a choice of... more

We stayed in Sunnybank as a stopover from a wedding in Lincoln on the way home north! We usually stay in nice hotels but decided to try B & B for a change. In this case following reviews on Late Rooms and of course Tripadvisor. Location: As many have said up a hill off the main Homefirth thoroughfare. About a... more

What a delightful find!! We love this part of the world and have been many times, but this was or first stay at Sunnybank. We normally stay at Hotels rather than B&Bs but this gorgeous Georgian house has quite changed our minds!! Very clean, comfortable, brilliantly located and super home cooking. We will be back! more

Sunnybank is well located in Holmfirth just up from the village centre, and offers great views of the surrounding countryside. Our room was large, with a very comfortable bed and excellent facilities to make tea, watch TV and generally chill out in some initially poor weather. The next day was fantastic though. The bathroom was spacious, with walk in shower... more

We had a lovely stay at Sunnybank. We have just returned from an Easter break in Yorkshire. There were 6 in our party and we had 3 rooms for the stay. They were all extremely well furnished with really comfortable beds with lovely bedlinen. The bathrooms were well appointed and the views from the bedrooms all most attractive. The guesthouse... more

We loved our visit to Sunnybank Guest house to celebrate my wifes Birthday. We stayed in the Vally room (the largest) and thought it was fantastic. The views were lovely, the bed was massive and very comfortable and facilitys were spot on. The en suite bathroom rivaled any hotels that we have stayed in on our various trips around the... more
