What was arguably the finest hotel ever, having just re-opened after after a two year refurbishment, has become a major disappointment. Room prices have trebled, other charges have doubled, and the rooms and the services are quite unchanged. The gardens have been re-modeled (apparently) to appeal to the elderly.
